Because I hope to pour the fruit of my work into sacramental theology, this has particular relevance to my internal epistemological discussion. NPR’s The World had a story about a Roman Catholic church in Madrid that was facing expulsion (or some kind of dismantling). The reason? Priests dress in casual clothes, amongst other departures from liturgy. But more importantly, they offer bread as the Eucharist in the stead of wafers.
